Come down love
Berlin in the cold
All that fighting, all that snow
and byron on my mind
Tell me I’m not going home
and I’ll stop waiting by the phone
and silence in my blood
Sorry love I’m running home
I’m a child of sun and the stars I love

sometimes, santiago de chile looks like the scene of an apocalyptic movie. the smog or fog. and the darkness. to go with it it has some huge monumental buildings, fascinating architecture, and a whole lot of memories from the past.
santiago from above: cerro de san cristobal & the museum of memories and human rights.

when the sun goes down in rio the place to be is ipanema. crowds gather by the beach on a huge stone to admire the great spectacle of sunset. after filling the sky with colors the sun dives into the sea. applause from the people gathered at the stone stone fills the darkness with joy. boa noite rio. hope to see you again soon.

most of the roadside in chile is filled with beautiful sights and breathtaking nature – still every now and then you pass a little tragedy. small altars along the road in remembrance of people who lost their lives in traffic accidents is a far too common sight. then, one of the many forest fires lights up a hillside and people are doing all they can to save their homes.

say hi to niterói. rio de janeiro’s little cousin just across the bay. most famous for its contemporary art museum and its fantastic view of rio. the sanfransico beach is worth a visit when going here, and everything seems quiet compared to the extremely lively city of rio.

i miss running after your little footsteps and hearing you laugh. you are 12895.37km away and i’ll see you in two months.
with love from chile.
When people whisper in Portuguese
Its just as mysterious
And the stubble on his face
It hurt me when
When we fell onto each other’s faces
Dawn retraces heart ached patterns across grey oceans
Windows brighten up the room

valparaíso got me with its hills, the colors, the fresh breeze blowing in my face and its vibrant night scene. take that and add street art and the city has a new fan. here are a few or my favorite valpo wall pieces.
